The new Agricultural Waste Regulations represent a challenge to the industry but also an opportunity to use our skills and ingenuity to keep waste disposal costs down and help protect the environment. This farm waste management booklet can help farmers to find local companies to recycle their farm waste rather than sending it to landfill. It also gives tried and tested waste saving tips from other Norfolk farmers to help avoid waste in the first place. The benefits are huge, both to farmers, who save money on waste disposal costs, and to Norfolk’s environment.
Inside you will find useful information about the new Agricultural Waste Regulations and the options now available for dealing with your farm waste. This directory also contains details of waste management companies offering farm waste recycling services in Norfolk, along with ideas to help you reduce your waste disposal costs and divert waste from landfill.
NRBAS worked jointly with Norfolk County Council to research the introduction of the Agricultural Waste Regulation and its effects on the county’s waste streams and the county’s farmers.
