Partners: The project is funded jointly by Norfolk County Council and the Norfolk IIC fund. The delivery of the project is supported by North Norfolk District Council, North Norfolk Business Forum and The Griffon Area Partnership.

The project will enable individuals to develop their entrepreneurship, demonstrated by them setting up and developing their own businesses. The aim is personal development and coaching that will give the individual the confidence and contacts to develop a local business of their own.

The project will be managed by NRBAS and delivered by a dedicated business development coach working three days/week in the project area. Importantly, there will also be a local panel of volunteers which will act as problem solvers for the individual clients referred to it by the coach. These volunteers will largely be identified by the coach during the course of the project, but they are likely to be people with a personal concern for the development, growth and spirit of the community. This panel is expected to form a vital component of the sustainability of the project’s work beyond the project’s lifetime. They will have seen at first hand the impact on their community of this approach and will be best placed to ensure its continuity.

The support is open to any one who lives or works in the Griffon Area which covers North Walsham and 25 surrounding parishes: Southrepps, Gimingham, Mundesley, Trunch, Thorpe Market, Colby, Erpingham, Ingworth, Alby with Thwaite, Suffield, Antingham, Swafield, Knapton, Paston, Bacton, Felmingham, Skeyton, Swanton Abbot, Westwick, Worstead, Honing, Witton, Dilham, Sloley, Scottow.
